IThe “Il Colle del Falco” was created from Anna and Andrea’s deep love for nature and their innate passion for horses. Their vision turned into reality with a 20-hectare estate recently built as a horse ranch.
Besides the agricultural-centered activity, “Il Colle del Falco” is able to combine the hospitality of the holiday farm with the riding school activity of A.S.D Castellaro Equestre. The owners Anna and Andrea are young and dynamic; they have a broad background of different experiences, which allow them to be interconnected and complementary in their business and in life. They are FISE and ENGEA certified instructors and they have a long-term involvement in sport at a competitive level as well as in horse breeding.
Anna Zucchi
FISE and ENGEA certified instructor, she took part of not only several national competitions, but also many international contests both in Italy and abroad, always achieving good results.
She competed at many Italian Championships for the disciplines of jumping and full, she always secured good rankings. She met horse riding at the age of 6, starting her children and junior careers with multiple victories and regional titles in all three Olympic disciplines; she took part of two editions of the Verona Horse Fair both individually and as a team, achieving great results.
Her love for animals, specifically for horses, prompts her to select a University path inherent to veterinary, earning her bachelor’s degree in “Animal Breeding and Welfare” in 2010 when she also decided to step away from her professional career as a competition, to fully dedicate herself to thoroughbred and jumping horses’ farms, until she developed her farm “Il Colle del Falco”
Andrea Magnani
ENGEA certified instructor, he began horseback riding at the age of 5, starting off with English style riding to then transition into Western style riding dedicating to reining.
In reining, he placed well in the category “non-pro” and he placed third in the Italian Championship as a rookie with a horse of his own. Lover of the free riding immerse in nature, he collected several experiences of trekking and he mastered in the horse carriages discipline.
At the age of 20, he started to support national and international coaches in their daily duties, transforming his passion towards horses in a full-time job, specializing in taming, training reining horses, managing racehorses farms, preparing foals for auctions and for races, managing mares and foals as a “stalloniere”. After the 20-years experience in recognized farms and facilities all over Italy and abroad, together with his wife Anna, here comes the holiday farm “Il Colle del Falco”.
