Our desire is for our guest to feel at home, for this reason Anna dedicates a specific care and attention to arrange breakfast with simple and genuine ingredients. You will find a variety of tasty homemade pie, jams made with aged fruits directly picked from the orchard of our farm, homemade yogurt, typical cold-cuts and local cheeses. Much more will wait for you in the breakfast area, which, with its large window, will allow you to also enjoy the beautiful and relaxing landscape.

We invite you to read the general rules of “Il Colle del Falco” for your staying:
- Our facility offers overnight accommodation and breakfast.
500 meters from us, you may find a tavern, while 600 meters from us, you may find a restaurant/pizzeria where you could taste some good cuisine Emiliana. These places are easy to get to, however there are multiple typical tavern within a radius of 10 km.
- Check-in time is set between 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
If there may be special needs for different time ranges, we ask to please communicate it in advance, in order for us to meet your requests when possible.
- Check-out time is set prior to 11:00 am.
- Breakfast is served between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. In case of any specific needs, it is possible to anticipate the time.
- There is free Wi-Fi both in the common areas and in the rooms.
- Each rooms has a private bathroom with shower, a tv, and air conditioner.
- Room cleaning service is an additional option upon request and it costs 8,00 euro per room.
- In order to be environmental friendly, the towels will be changed after the 4thday of staying. The change is upon request and it costs 5 euros.
- Inside the farm, we have a pool, which is not temporarily open to the public. Indeed, the access of the guests to the pool is prohibited.
- Inside the property, dogs have to be on a leash. It is a good hygienic rule not to let dogs on the beds and we ask the owners to be respectful of this.
- The tourist tax adopted by the city of Fidenza amounts 1,00 euros per person, per night, till a maximum of 7 consecutive nights of staying (excluded kids younger of 12 years of age, people with disabilities and their accompaniers)
- Smoking is prohibited in all rooms, in the two-room apartment and in the common areas
ACTIVITIES FOR OUR GUESTS
RIDING SCHOOL
The A.S.D of Castellaro Equestre will be pleased to assist you with a team of qualified instructors during your classes for both English and Western style horse riding. We give first-timers the opportunity to learn how to saddle up. With this, you could have an initial approach with horses, learn the foundation basics of knowledge regarding the animal to then eventually manage them from the ground and from the saddle.
Minimum age requirement is 4 and half years old.
HORSEBACK RIDING STROLLS
“Il Colle del Falco” offers a variety of itineraries to reach by horse based on different duration and difficulty level. We will guide you through something that aims to be more than a simple “walk”; in fact, it is a beautiful sensorial experience. Equine-touristic guides will lead you into navigating our breathtaking land.
Those who join us with their own horses and want to enjoy the experience saddled up their travel companions have the opportunity to stable them in our facilities.
Our care towards your security is our main concern and the back rides are only designated for people who already have familiarity with the horses, and who are already able to manage them confidently both while on the ground and on the saddle.
It will be our effort to evaluate the level of the rider and decide consequently if taking them or not back riding, we chose not to guarantee this service to whoever is a beginner.
Alternatively, we give the opportunity to get on the saddle to have a first approach with the horse both from the ground and ridden, as well as to learn basic foundation of knowledge about this animal.
Additionally, in order to respect the traffic rules laws, we can only take over-14 back riding in the open field.

VISIT OF THE “CASEIFICIO” (Cheese Factory)
Parmigiano Reggiano is one of the most famous and recognized DOP cheeses of Italy; we offer a guided visit to the cheese factories of the area, where Parmigiano Reggiano was conceived and it ages until it is ready to be served on your table.
THE VIA FRANCIGENA
The Via Francigena is a path that passes nearby “Il Colle del Falco”, you can walk it through Via Dei Pellegrini for an experience of trekking with breathtaking landscapes, it is not particularly challenging in terms of physical activity.
SHOPPING AT THE FIDENZA VILLAGE
One of the most noted outlets in Italy is found 10 min away from “Il Colle del Falco”, it offers a unique fun time with its 120 boutiques.
ITINERARIES BY MOUNTAIN BIKE
“Il Colle del Falco” is a crossroad of different appreciated bike itineraries of the area offering paths for each level of difficulty.. bikes included! For the experts, we are located between Waypoint 4 and 5, one of the most traveled routes of the area. We have two bicycles for adult and one small bicycle for hire at the prize of 5,00 euros per bicycle per day

The food museums showcase typical product of the territory, they empower their identity, and they qualify the entire Italian food valley. Museum of Parmigiano Reggiano, of tomatoes, of salame Felino, of culatello di Zibello, and much more.

Il Labirinto del Masone is a park built near Fontanellato (PR). It extends for 7-hectar and it comprises the largest labyrinth in the world made out of different species of bamboo as well as spaces that host the art collection by Franco Maria Ricci.
